As part of the popular HGTV series Catastrophe Inc., Heat & Glo is providing fireplaces to homeowners affected by Hurricane Sandy.
On Sunday, July 21, the Catastrophe Inc. crew will install a Heat & Glo Cosmo SLR
fireplace as part of a renovation at the McConville family’s home in eastern Pennsylvania. Within two years, McConville’s home was hit multiple times by Hurricane Sandy, Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee, and they couldn’t keep up with the repairs. The Catastrophe Inc. team came in and completely remodeled the basement, the kitchen and living room, including adding a beautiful new Heat & Glo Cosmo gas fireplace. Cosmo SLR
Then, on Sunday, July 28, the Catastrophe Inc. team will install a Heat & Glo SL-750
as part of a renovation of the Benbrook family’s home in Port Monmouth, N.J. Hurricane Sandy flooded the home with seawater, destroying everything. The Catastrophe Inc. team remodeled the entire first floor with a new kitchen, living room and family room. With the help of the Wood Stove and Fireplace Center
in Oakhurst, N.J. (who were also struggling with flooding), Heat & Glo provided the Benbrook’s with a beautiful SL-750 gas fireplace for their home, just in time for Christmas. SL-750
